On Thursday night, Taffy tries to sleep with one eye open, for she spends it with Policeman Laws at the police sation.  Whenever she hears a sound, or just feels important, Taffy will bark. Then, Policeman Laws, without even waking up, will pat Taffy and murmur, "Good girl."
